A Legacy Reimagined
The Red Barn has been part of Mt. Prospect since 1966. Built by Ruth and Louis Cooper, the building has seen many changes over the years. If these walls could talk, they’d share decades of laughter, late nights, and good food.
In 2018, we stepped in to write the next chapter, bringing fresh energy to a space that has always been a gathering place for the community.

From the start, we knew The Red Barn had to be more than just another restaurant. As a locally owned and family-run business, we wanted to create a place where people could relax, eat well, and enjoy great company. Whether you’re here for lunch, happy hour, or a night out, our doors are open, and the drinks are cold.

The Red Barn is built for good times. Every weekend, we bring live music to the stage, while our DJs keep the energy up with crowd-favorite hits and video sets.
